Wow, has it really been almost a year since I wrote a blog?!?! A lot of amazing things have happened in that year and maybe one day I will tell that story....but for now I am SO excited to share with you a recent wedding I had the honor of photographing. The story of Erika and I go back almost 4 years when I photographed her best friend wedding. At that time, Steve wasn't in the picture...fast forward to 2016 when I photographed another very good friend's wedding and I had the pleasure of meeting Steve! When Steve popped the question last year, Erika wasn't sure I would be able to come to Massachusetts for their wedding. I am so happy I was able to- it was not only a pleasure but an extreme honor! Check out some of my favorites from their day at Bittersweet Farms in Westport, MA.
I'll be the first to admit I do not have the greatest green thumb. Now, I can keep plants alive and have successfully grown a veggie or two, but my mom is like the plant whisperer, no joke. She often gives me advice on what to do when my plants are on the brink of death and I win some and I lose some. It was no surprise to me when she got a membership to a long time favorite place of ours, Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. We had gone once before to the Orchid Show but this time I really got a chance to roam around and take my time with my images. Thanks, mom for taking us and helping me with the girls! The show was back in the spring but we love to visit there all year, next up : the fountain show!

I first met Lori in 2014 when she was maid of honor for one of my brides....I was thrilled when she reached out to book me for her own wedding! The day started off at The Sheraton Eatontown for getting ready portraits and the first look. Then we headed to Asbury Park for some awesome bridal party portraits and even got to meet a mermaid and a pirate! The ceremony and reception was held at The Mill at Spring Lake Heights. Lori and Mike caught a beautiful summer sunset and the dance floor was full all night!
We even had a visit from a mermaid and a pirate! So many adventures at Asbury Park Boardwalk!
Shout out to some of the amazing vendors who helped make Lori and Mike's wedding day perfect!
